Do you have a valid drivers liscense to operate a scooter battery in public?
I am disabled and can not walk at the end of the street without my cane. I live in a small town and thought to get a mobility scooter for disabled people to go to the library MacDonald, etc, since it is only 2-3 blocks from my house. They do not go beyond 5-7 miles per hour and will be mounted on a sidewalk or side of the road. They are not considered road vehicles. I live in Tennessee, and we really need an answer for that. Someone get to know the laws about this? I searched everywhere, including TN.gov. Thanks for any help. Incidentally, this is not a problem is my doctors to sign a form stating that I need a way to Transpo for any distance, because I can not walk without help if they would make a difference.
It took a while, but here is the law of Tennessee on mobile devices, I'm from Tennessee, and persons with disabilities, so I thought to do what I could help. Unfortunately, I live in Georgia and am having trouble getting a bike, because my doctor is lazy. Feel free to e-mail if you need more help. 55-53-105. What is your opinion on these scooters and strollers that elderly seniors do not ride on sidewalks?
I almost spill today. Us seemed about 10 miles per hour, I remember reading a couple of deaths last year http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1201612/Police-hunt- the mobility of people older-woman-driver-scooter-90-injured-hit-http: / / www.iwcp.co.uk/news/oap-scooter-riders-face-safety-move-24792.aspx Hels run.html Yes . that makes sense.
My love is classified as disabled by Parkinson's through, and when I go, always by his manual wheelchair. Without going into detail about the reaction of "valid", I have the most inconsiderate to his Motability scooter. There is a pub in the city where I live and which has at least three of these potentially lethal weapons stationed outside for more a few hours. X pints later, and I know this for a fact, jump on a drunk and careers on the sidewalk, completely out of control. They - you know who can not get one of those free social services? It says everything.
